Washington DC essay contest

For 2019, the Candia Community Woman’s Club will award up to the cost of at least one trip. The final amount to be awarded will be determined by the scholarship selection committee, through a blind selection process. The Candia Community Woman’s Club reserves the right to withhold any award based upon the quality of submissions in either category.

  • Why I honor the American flag.
  • What is your responsibility to America?
  • Choose one right of the Bill of Rights and explain how this right has been important in your life. Use specific examples to support your explanation.

If you are interested in applying for this contest,

  1. read the Rules & Application Form
  2. submit your project either to Henry Moore School or by using the Entry Form via Google

Moore School student submissions are due to the school office on April 26, 2019.  If attending a school other than Moore School, please submit them to dcscholarship@candiawomansgroup.org
