Washington DC essay contest

This year, the Candia Community Woman’s Club will award up to $900 to the essay contest winner. The final amount to be awarded will be determined by the scholarship selection committee, through a blind selection process.

  • What does it mean to be a servant leader?
  • How should we honor and look after our veterans, who have served and sacrificed on our behalf?
  • Which of the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment do you consider the most important? Explain your answer.

Moore School student essays are due to Mr. Pritchard on June 1, 2018 (please note that the due date was extended from February 22 to June 1, 2018).  If attending a school other than Moore School, please submit them to dcscholarship@candiawomansgroup.org
