A highlight of some of our projects over the past 40 years:

• #1. Made and placed street signs throughout the town of Candia (very first project)
• #2. Worked in partnership with the Fire Department to sponsor a CPR course for residents
• #3. Donated numerous books to the Smyth Public Library when a baby born to a club member
• #4. Donated a set of Encyclopedias to the Candia Moore School
• #5. For the safety of the children in Candia, several fingerprinting clinics were conducted in cooperation with the Candia Police Department
• #6. Break Dance, Swing Dance and Square Dance lessons were sponsored
• #7. Conducted the school census (number of students at public and private schools) for several years for the school board
• #8. Have given a high school scholarship to a Candia senior for 38 years
• #9. Sponsored a Candidate’s Night for over 10 years
• #10. Sponsored the Bloodmobile once or twice a year for 38 years
• #11. Decorated the town planters for 20+ years
• #12. Worked with the UNH Extension to conduct Babysitting Course for middle school students
• #13. Worked with Candia Chemical People and the D.A.R.E. programs with Candia youth
• #14. Bike-A-Thons to raise money for causes and to teach bicycle safety
• #15. Promoted the celebration of the Constitution’s 200th Anniversary at the Moore School
• #16. Helped plan and participated yearly with Candia Old Home Day
• #17. Moore Park Playground – involved with financing and building the new playground
• #18. Sponsored 2 Juniorette Clubs – volunteer group for Candia Middle and High School girls
• #19. Sold Christmas Wreaths – funds to be used for projects to benefit the town
• #20. Highway Clean-up – cleaned litter on 2 miles of Route 27 for 30+ years
• #21. Teacher Appreciation to thank the Candia Teachers each year
• #22. Worked with the local dentist to provide Fluoride to Candia students
• #23. Food Pantry – the club has been providing food to Candia residents for 30+ years
• #24. Chocolate Extravaganza – a fun and delicious fundraiser where all things were chocolate
• #25. Thanksgiving Baskets and Christmas Baskets – given out annually to residents in town
• #26. Christmas Tree Giving – spearheaded this town-wide annual event to provide for Candia families
• #27. Christmas Tree Lighting – held for many years to welcome in the Holiday season with songs, food and lights
• #28. Back-to-School backpacks – filled with school supplies for Candia students
• #29. Touch–A-Truck – sponsored this fun and learning event for our younger youth
• #30. Families in Crisis – stepped in many times to help families going through a crisis
• #31. Loaf and Ladle – to raise money for fuel assistance for Candia residents
• #32. Continuing Education Scholarship – a memorial scholarship for Candia women returning for further education
• #33. Deliberative Session – provided drinks and goodies during this annual town event
• #34. Town Wide Yard Sale Fundraiser – held each year in June
• #35. Stitching Up the World – a knit, sew and crochet group who have made 15,000+ items for dozens of projects in town, the state and the world
• #36. Senior Support –provides town seniors with goodies and gifts throughout the year
• #37. Support to Candia Moore School students – provided funds for trips, books and needed supplies
• #38. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts – have partnered with the scouts on countless projects
• #39. Weekend Backpacks – Provide backpacks with food to help families with meals over the weekend
• #40. PARTNERSHIPS – the club has partnered with almost every organization in town at one time or another to work on behalf of the citizens of Candia
