Pecan Rice
Recipe provided by Ann T.. "Simple, easy and very tasty side dish. Try it tonight for dinner!"
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1 1/4 cups water (rice and water, please follow directions on package)
- 3 tbs unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Make Jasmine rice (or other favorite rice) without butter.
- Melt 3 tbs of unsalted butter until it browns, in a frying pan.
- Add a handful of pecan pieces and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add rice to the butter and pecan mixture and salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve!
